This was a phenomenal rehab that really cares about patients, and takes the time to make sure that their needs on the outside are met while in treatment. Staff is very helpful and its a beautiful location. The weekend outings were fun and memorable. They even took me to get a pedicure! The ocean view makes the stay worthwhile and all the skills that are taught throughout the week I am able to use for my whole life time. If you’re feeling like your life has became unmanageable, I would recommend going to California detox it is definitely the Best place that you could possibly be at in your early recovery. The staff there is very great. This facility is amazing, and so is the staff. They are helpful to all your needs no matter how big or small. The facilitators are great and you will learn a lot about yourself and how to recover. It has a personal touch because only 6 residents max are allowed at one time. That creates more one on one time for specialized care. The house has a view of the Pacific Ocean that will take your breath, especially at sunset. The beach is right across the street and is only a 15-minute walk. You will go there often. After 3:00 pm you are free to do what you like, and there's plenty of opportunities to relax to allow your mind, body, and spirit the recovery it deserves. I spent 30 days at California Detox treating trauma and mental health, and the services I received were phenomenal. My case manager and therapist were available all day throughout the week, and the behavioral health technicians who managed the day-to-operations of the program both during the week and over the weekend were personable, compassionate, and professional. Mental health treatment at California Detox if highly personalized, and all clinicians and staff were responsive to my requests, preferences, and needs. Weekend outings into the surrounding community allowed us to retain our sense of being in the world and provided a smooth on-ramp to reintegrate after discharge. Beautiful view they take you to outings once a week you get to use your phone, they take you to meetings, groups are held in the house the staff are really nice ,food is catered and they also get you groceries I had a great time very chill environment. This place is definitely the place to be if you’re trying to get sober. The best choice I could have possibly made for my recovery I was scared I was coming down withdrawing really bad I was going through a lot couldn’t really think or function. But when I called the admissions guy that I had held my Hand threw it all broke it down for me listened to me told me his story about coming here and how it helped him sounded to good to be true but that was not the case it was all true. He would check on me make sure I was good answered questions I had or had already asked 10 times already let me call him and make sure about things I had questions on  and reassured me that I’d be ok. And when I got here I was pretty far from home no family or anything and I was so stressed out and sad lots of emotions they were very welcoming. Which made it a lot easier for sure they talked to me helped me adjust. The staff my goodness is freaking amazing i could not have asked for better staff I love them they really care and make you feel good about where your at kept it real with me cause I only wanted honesty good or bad. My case my manager was amazing I loved her she was really helpful supper smart and amazing could talk to her about whatever and she would listen give me honest feedback and kept it real. I asked her prolly the same question about insurance and if I was good or whatever a dozen times and she didn’t get irritated or annoyed just answered them for me and said your good dude no worries helped. My stay here at California Detox was a blessing. I came in unsure about my sobriety and left with a positive outlook on life. Therapist Maggie and case manager Rachel are so helpful and always made sure they were there when they were needed. Cali detox was a life-changing experience. I wasn't expecting to get what I got out of it, that's for sure. I thought I was just going on vacation for a day, for day credit, and it was life-changing. I'm so grateful for Rachel, the case manager, and Maggie, the therapist; they are fantastic, and their techs were very helpful as well. I don't regret one minute of my time there. I am a changed man because of this place, and I want to be sober. I never knew I could have fun while being sober, that's for sure. I even ended up going to their PHP program at Renaissance. It’s hard to fully capture the quality of California Detox in one review, but I’ll do my best. When I first arrived, it almost felt too good to be true. From the beautiful interior to the incredible views of the ocean and mountains, the setting alone offers peace. What truly sets this place apart though, is the people. Rachel is an exceptional case worker who immediately makes you feel comfortable. She has the experience and knowledge to connect with anyone and was a key instrument in helping me build a long term sobriety plan. Renne, Jenny, Eric, Nicole, Jackson, Jared, and Larson are all outstanding. No matter the time or situation, they are there to listen and offer genuine, supportive feedback. They have created a space where vulnerability feels safe and encouraged. This experience was life changing. I’ve learned coping skills and tools that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. It’s hard to fail when you’re surrounded by this level of support and care. I’m forever grateful. Thank you all! I wish I could have stayed longer, but it’s time to step back into the real world. My experience with California Detox was phenomenal. When I first got there, I felt safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. The location itself is absolutely stunning—peaceful ocean views, beautiful grounds, and a calming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff are amazing! Every Tech, the therapist, the case manager and each support staff member treated me with compassion, patience, and respect. They worked extra hard to make themselves available to me at all times, and made what could have been a very difficult experience feel easy and hopeful. These people actually care, and it shows in their work. The facility is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with private and shared rooms and thoughtful amenities. I thought I was in a fancy Hotel, not a medical facility. The food was nutritious and delicious, and lunch and dinner were catered every day. The daily schedule was well balanced with medical care, therapy, and time to rest and reflect. Most importantly, this place gave me a real foundation for recovery. The staff here is incredible. My family member has been to a few other treatment centers but California Detox has by far been the best treatment center. Staff pays attention to the individual and makes them feel comfortable and at home during their stay. The case manager Rachel was absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond for the clients there and ensures they have everything they need in order to be successful after being discharged. Had an amazing recovery experience at California Detox. All the staff were incredible. Rachel my case manager made everything incredibly easy and really kept me motivated. Jenny and Chris did my intake and made me feel welcome and at home as soon as I met them. Chris is hilarious. Jackson made every outing one to remember and always had a way of connecting the clients. Nicole always had a positive energy that rubbed off on me, and we would bond over music. Thank you Rene for always taking us to AA meetings and the store for a soda or vape! In general I'm so thankful to have come here every single one of the staff mad a huge impact on me whether that be personally or through groups. The facilitators are also incredible, Brian was my personal favorite. The house is in a beautiful location and your daily schedule has the perfect balance, focusing heavily on your personal journey of recovery, but also giving more than enough time to unwind and enjoy your day. A little bit about me, I’m an alcoholic and have struggled for years now trying to quit, I have gone through many horrible withdrawals, been in the hospital twice, and 3 times in rehab. I got so scared when I saw my eyes yellow and skin turn yellow. I’m thankful for God that I have not done any permanent damage. Today I am 79 days sober the longest so far, I have no cravings nor any desire to pick up again. I recently went through inpatient treatment with California Detox back in August with only being a month out of my treatment center prior. The clinical staff, and house staff are amazing, caring, with no judgement, and they treated me with respect. The house is beautiful, I was able to stay in my own room that faced the ocean, I was able to bring my cat, so I felt more at home. I loved group sessions, the facilitators were very knowledgeable, engaging, and I learned so much about my addiction, along with coping skills, and so much more to help me stay sober. Being able to get out and go to meetings, outings, and walks to the beach helped from feeling isolated. Sorry I could go on and on, but I do highly recommend seeking treatment from California Detox to start your sober journey. Had an amazing experience at CA Detox. All of the staff were professional, kind and accommodating to all 6 of us in the house. Outside therapists/facilitators share relevant topics and exercises for recovery. They allowed us to come up with and vote on all of our group outings. CALIFORNIA DETOX has been by far a great rehabilitation facility. My stay here has been a seamless one. From groups to 1 on 1 therapy and most of of the level of care that everyone in this house setting recieves. Truthfully speaking this place saved my life and helped me find myself internally and all of the external things fell into place quickly than I could imagine. Nicole made it a safe warm welcome, along with Rachel's intro. I enjoyed and had fun with the entire staff but most of all the group facilitators were knowledgeable, helpful, insightful, and amazing. I've learned some great coping tools and would recommend this place to anyone who would like to experience true,safe, happy, and caring detox treatment. The staff was overall what helped me surrender from day 1 and wasn't being all institutional guards. Dave Rocks, and Cooper coming every Wednesday was something I would forward to until I decided to change my eating habits. Rachel, Nicole,Renee,  Jared,Larson,Chris, Jenny and Jackson were the best. Maggie was very helpful and great with therapy. The house itself is beautiful, with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and felt more like a home than a facility. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Rachel, the case manager, was incredible—compassionate, professional, and always there when I needed guidance. Renee and Nicole from the support staff made me feel genuinely cared for and safe every step of the way. It was a proper medical detox, and I always felt secure knowing I was being monitored and looked after. We always had what we needed, and the environment was positive and respectful. I couldn’t have asked for a better detox experience—and I’m still sober today thanks to their help. The rooms were super clean and comfortable--way more like a home than a treatment center. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Rachel, the case manager, is truly incredible. She listened, supported, and guided me through everything with so much care and professionalism. And Renee and Nicole from the support staff were absolutely amazing--they always checked in on me, made sure I felt safe, and treated me like a person, not just a patient. This was a proper medical detox, so I always felt safe physically and emotionally. They had everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable and cared for around the clock. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better detox experience--and I'm proud to say I'm still sober today! I don’t even have the words to fully express how grateful we are to California Detox for what they’ve done for Edward. Before treatment, he was struggling — carrying so much pain, anger, and confusion. Watching someone you love suffer like that is heartbreaking. But the person who came back from California detox is not the same. Edward is calmer, more thoughtful, more grateful — he’s truly found a new sense of purpose and peace. For the first time in a long time, we see light in his eyes again. California Detox didn’t just help him get sober — they helped him reconnect with who he really is. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-run, and I constantly hear positive feedback about the food (which is no small thing when you're working on getting healthy again). I attended California Detox to do a panel and it was such a good experience. The facility was super clean and welcoming! The staff had the clients there on time to begin the panel which showed me they are really good at sticking to schedule. The staff is also super kind and asked if I needed anything to drink when I first walked in which doesn't normally happen. I would if I could give 10 ⭐️’s! * I can’t say enough great things about California Detox! * I was completely broken with no sense of direction. * I left with hope, strength, self discipline, a daily adulting routine and an amazing experience. * It gave me back my self worth and along with tools to stay sober! * Immediately when I literally stumbled in the door I was welcomed by Jared and Gabriel! They make you feel comfortable and safe! * Rachel the Case Manager is more like a house mom. She’s super grounded, down to earth and makes you feel comfortable. She goes above and beyond by accommodating your dietary needs! * Raely the onsite therapist is so easy to connect with! I literally felt like I had known her  for years. She gives you great Insight, great advice and has a common sense approach to therapy! * I would definitely recommend attending  the daily sessions during detox! It makes it fly by! * All of the facilitators have a unique creative often spiritual approach and are completely engaging as opposed to being bored by lecturing. * It’s awesome from the morning AA zoom meetings to yoga to painting art on canvas to  playing recovery Pictionary and to even getting cleansed  with a sage stick! * You will love it that they see exercise as an important component in recovery. * Nicole would take us on daily walks and Eric the exercise facilitator brings his bluetooth speaker and workout bands! * Weekly outings included in person doc meetings, bowling, mini golf/go cart racing and an awesome boat ride in  Newport Beach harbor! * I could go on but my best suggestion is to experience it for yourself and all it has to offer! I came to California detox last march. I needed to make a change in my life for my well being. the facilitators, fellow clients, and staff were a huge part of my experience and they made it very pleasant. I learned life skills and developed tools that I wouldn't have learned anywhere else. The view from the house is truly breathtaking. the living room captures perfect sunsets over the water and brings a very comforting atmosphere into the house Having a nurse on call 24/7 was a huge help during my first week due to the condition I was in, they made sure I had all the medical assistance I needed to get through my detox. During my stay I had several appointments I needed to make, the case manager was very on top of their work and had scheduled them perfectly  and I made it to every single one of my appointments. Staff took us to meetings/outings every week , we had a perfect balance of working on ourselves at the facility and still being able to go outside into the world Upon discharge I felt brand new, and was confident in my ability to maintain a stable life I would refer friends and loved ones to this facility if ever needed. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. There is good and bad in every treatment center, but finding the bad in this example honestly is difficult. The staff actually cares and it feels like it’s more than just a paycheck. The care team is amazing and they always keep the food stocked, and I like to eat. 😂 I have a vast history of relapse, and have been in multiple institutions for treatment. Issac has helped me in so many ways from finding out who I am to helping others. Raley is one of my favorite therapists I’ve ever had. She taught me so many skills I still use to this day.
