I just wanted to say how much I loved being at California detox center staff members are the best her at California detox they are very helpful and very supportive and very understanding and willing to help you in anyway!!! I will definitely always remember this and it really has changed to my mind on doing the right thing and follow the paths to want to continue be able to stay clean & Sober if feel they made me feel like family and gave me the tools I needed to help me to move forward in my addiction Recovery!! J W42 days agoThis was a phenomenal rehab that really cares about patients, and takes the time to make sure that their needs on the outside are met while in treatment. The six person house makes the treatment so much more personal. Also, the views from the house makes recovery so much easier.+1Posted on Google

This place is a hidden gem, I fully encourage you to try this place if you are seeking treatment. It is a beautiful home on the beachside with plenty of personal space. Clayton G106 days agoIf you’re feeling like your life has became unmanageable, I would recommend going to California detox it is definitely the Best place that you could possibly be at in your early recovery. The staff there is very great. They don’t treat you like a client, but they treat you like a friend the case manager and therapist are one of the best that I’ve ever met personally and you will definitely get the starting tools to stay sober in recovery.Posted on Google

I had a great experience and really feel like I got what I needed to help me on my journey. Location was beautiful, the house was clean and comfortable, staff really cared and made me feel valued. I was in a safe environment that helped me feel supported. I absolutely recommend this place for anyone struggling. I am grateful for the opportunity that I had.Posted on Google
Gregory109 days agoThis facility is amazing, and so is the staff. They are helpful to all your needs no matter how big or small. The facilitators are great and you will learn a lot about yourself and how to recover. It has a personal touch because only 6 residents max are allowed at one time. That creates more one on one time for specialized care. The house has a view of the Pacific Ocean that will take your breath, especially at sunset. The beach is right across the street and is only a 15-minute walk. You will go there often. After 3:00 pm you are free to do what you like, and there's plenty of opportunities to relax to allow your mind, body, and spirit the recovery it deserves. This place is EXACTLY where I needed to be to begin my recovery process, and I am so grateful for this opportunity.+8Posted on Google
Matt L119 days agoI spent 30 days at California Detox treating trauma and mental health, and the services I received were phenomenal. My case manager and therapist were available all day throughout the week, and the behavioral health technicians who managed the day-to-operations of the program both during the week and over the weekend were personable, compassionate, and professional. Mental health treatment at California Detox if highly personalized, and all clinicians and staff were responsive to my requests, preferences, and needs. Weekend outings into the surrounding community allowed us to retain our sense of being in the world and provided a smooth on-ramp to reintegrate after discharge. Medication management was top-notch, and any other medical appointments I desired were set up quickly. Highly recommended!Posted on Google
Gio143 days agoBeautiful view they take you to outings once a week you get to use your phone, they take you to meetings, groups are held in the house the staff are really nice ,food is catered and they also get you groceries I had a great time very chill environment. Had an amazing recovery experience at California Detox. All the staff were incredible. Rachel my case manager made everything incredibly easy and really kept me motivated. Jenny and Chris did my intake and made me feel welcome and at home as soon as I met them. Chris is hilarious. Jackson made every outing one to remember and always had a way of connecting the clients. Nicole always had a positive energy that rubbed off on me, and we would bond over music. Thank you Rene for always taking us to AA meetings and the store for a soda or vape! In general I'm so thankful to have come here every single one of the staff mad a huge impact on me whether that be personally or through groups. The facilitators are also incredible, Brian was my personal favorite. The house is in a beautiful location and your daily schedule has the perfect balance, focusing heavily on your personal journey of recovery, but also giving more than enough time to unwind and enjoy your day. Will miss being here and miss every person I got to meet in this small chapter of my life.+4Posted on Yelp
Gregory C430 days agoTruthfully speaking this place saved my life and helped me find myself internally and all of the external things fell into place quickly than I could imagine. Nicole made it a safe warm welcome, along with Rachel's intro. I enjoyed and had fun with the entire staff but most of all the group facilitators were knowledgeable, helpful, insightful, and amazing. I've learned some great coping tools and would recommend this place to anyone who would like to experience true,safe, happy, and caring detox treatment. The staff was overall what helped me surrender from day 1 and wasn't being all institutional guards. Dave Rocks, and Cooper coming every Wednesday was something I would forward to until I decided to change my eating habits. Rachel, Nicole,Renee, Jared,Larson,Chris, Jenny and Jackson were the best. Maggie was very helpful and great with therapy. I've experienced some amazing outings that I wouldn't do normally and will remember this place 4 LIFE!! thank you all for helping me and a memorable 41st.birthday as well!!!+7Posted on YelpJenny B455 days agoI can't recommend California Detox enough! From the moment I arrived, I felt safe, cared for, and supported in every way. The house itself is gorgeous, with amazing views of the Pacific Ocean that really helped me feel calm even on tough days. The rooms were super clean and comfortable--way more like a home than a treatment center. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Rachel, the case manager, is truly incredible. She listened, supported, and guided me through everything with so much care and professionalism. And Renee and Nicole from the support staff were absolutely amazing--they always checked in on me, made sure I felt safe, and treated me like a person, not just a patient. This was a proper medical detox, so I always felt safe physically and emotionally. They had everything we needed and made sure we were comfortable and cared for around the clock. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better detox experience--and I'm proud to say I'm still sober today! Amy A527 days agoAs someone who has had the privilege of leading therapy groups at this facility, I can honestly say it's one of the most dedicated and client-centered treatment environments I've ever been part of. The clinical team is made up of some of the most compassionate, skilled, and ethical professionals I've worked with -- people who genuinely care about each client's journey and meet them where they are with respect and empathy. The group sessions here are dynamic, trauma-informed, and tailored to meet the real needs of individuals in early recovery. Whether it's processing work, relapse prevention, or skill-building, we strive to create a safe and empowering space for healing. The clients do courageous work, and it's an honor to walk alongside them in the process. The facility itself is clean, peaceful, and well-run, and I constantly hear positive feedback about the food (which is no small thing when you're working on getting healthy again). Everything from the daily schedule to the clinical programming is designed to support long-term recovery and whole-person wellness.
